Jaroslava Baconová, Teens and Adult Classes, and Continuing Education

Jaroslava Baconová is in charge of school coordination, and continues to teach our online teens and adults class. Her former students can be found all over the world, Prague, Glasgow, New Orleans, or Québec.

Jaroslava co-founded the new Ottawa Czech School.

David Beneš, Administration and Community Events

David Beneš remembers the former Czech school in Ottawa not only as a parent, but even as a pupil. When not working on school accounts, he’s taking over any class that needs his help. 

In 2019, co-founded the new Ottawa Czech School.

Michelle Havel, Online Kids Classes and Coordination

Teacher and community life organizer, one of the founders of Czech and Slovaks in Ottawa Facebook Group.

Michelle joined the team in 2021 as a online summer school teacher. She is now leading our coordination team.

Pavel Oškrkaný, Conversation classes

Pavel Oškrkaný joined our team in January 2022. Secondary school teacher of history, geography, and a poet in his spare time, Pavel is leading and developing our small groups conversations.

Renata joined Pavel since 2023 in developing our conversation classes.

Michelle Čipera, Community Outreach

Míša Čipera makes sure that our school and its values reach beyond language instruction. She is actively looking for community partners for our Czech Canadian Heritage Library and bilingual community events.
