Lucie Koďousková, co-founder of our new Ottawa Czech School and our dedicated Kids Program Leader, was an exceptional, generous, and beloved mother, friend, teacher, and community builder. Jaroslava Baconová, Direction, Teens and Adult Classes
Jaroslava Baconová is in charge of school coordination, and continues to teach our online teens and adults class. Her former students can be found all over the world, Prague, Glasgow, New Orleans, or Québec.

Pavel Oškrkaný joined our team in January 2022. Secondary school teacher of history, geography, and a poet in his spare time, Pavel is leading and developing our small groups conversations.

VOLUNTEERS
Míša Čipera makes sure that our school and its values reach beyond language instruction. She is actively looking for community partners for our Czech Canadian Heritage Library and bilingual community events.
Barunka has been with our school since its early days as a student, teacher’s assistant, and volunteer. After our wonderful first Czech Christmas bazaar, Barunka started the Czech That Out Club, which gathers volunteers ready to help the school and have fun doing it. Are you in?
